Come to Rochester NY, the going rate for a Jr Fireman slipping schedule to a Sr man working his pension up is $400 per shift CASH.

I have pictures of my bud's shop burning to the ground while $10 million in fire equipment sat in his yard pissin on the roof and Union members played games. It could have been saved by a fireman actually using a 1½ on arrival. Arrival time could have been cut by 4 minutes if Union members had been replaced by Firemen!

Union members on firetrucks are close to worthless in my book. In my locality they have done nothing other than chase volunteers away to the point we now have Vols sitting on their helmets in full gear waiting for a Union member to give them permission tohandle equipment. Damn sad thing to see in what was once a top rated Vol Dept.

Lets not even get into the money they rake in.
