You guys are great. Yes it may appear that you have a great job. You do so many things that we never hear about. Yes, you go help the little old ladies and etc. But you also go into to burning houses and find people risking your own lives to save others. Sometime you are not successful and all you can do is pick up what is left which would ruin anybodies day. Thank you again.
My hat is off to you guys. I respect the job and the firemen that do it. I just hope I never have to use your services, but am very happy to have you on stand by for others and myself.
Jonas, thanks for your personal dedication as a fireman. You not only are a professional fireman in Seattle but last I knew you are a volunteer fireman in the small town you live in.
As for the political stuff, too bad a lot of cities use you guys as a pawn to make people think all heck is going to happen just because they can not cut their spending on their pet projects.
