8 volt battery will get the fuel pumping faster and make all your starts easier. you might have to adjust the reg after installing an 8 volt battery. After the first one i installed on a customers truck It was so much nicer i have switched every 6 volt out for 8 ever since in a number of vehicles of mine and for others.
