I believe several months back there was a safty film posted about tire safty (welding to a rim w/ a mounted tire). my boss at work today was welding on a 22inch rim w/ a tire mounted. I tried to tell him how dangerous this was but to no avail. he is running a 3/16 jet rod 2" from the bead. I'm working about 30 ft away and don"t want to get hurt. if I can find the safty film and send it to him maybe he will break the tire down to a safer step help!~! Dave
