Install an inline fuel pressure regulator . Not sure but 3-5 lbs should be the maximum . you could also install a return line to the tank . Insulate the fuel line or reroute it . Vapour lock is not that difficult to beat . make sure you have a vented fuel cap.
Vapor lock is not from too much pressure . The old mechanical pump was just stretching the air in the line creating a slight low pressure zone followed by a high . The pump will not move air just liquid .
