Bill, my son took an interest in bikes about 7 years ago. His sport was down hill which he excelled at over the next few years. He travelled to Europe twice competing and continued
to hone his skill. Every summer we would travel from the west coast to all the meets in your neck of the woods. During our summer travels I meet a lot of the people on this forum, plus being with my son during this time was a real bonus. My son finally won the highest points in the nation and was sent to the Worlds Cup which was held in New Zealand. The sport taught my son so much and I am also a proud father.
