usually security type screws like that are to discourage tampering with by 'regular' folk. on long island, when cablevision came out, the first cable boxes had a corded remote. this remote allowed you to change channels from anywhere the cord would reach. inside this remote head were adjustable knobs that permitted or denied access to certain channels. the box was put together with a special security screw. open that control box, adjust the knob and you get - playboy channel! every kid on long island was looking for that driver!!
