I was at my father in laws ( Charlie Mahoney's aka Iron Chief Charlie & Indian Day in Campbellford google him , he is a great read ) . Charlie had a small set of torches ,to loosen rusted parts on old Indian motorcycles that he restored . We were sitting in the front of his shop exchanging our day to day stuff . The floor of his shop wasn't to tidy the hoses for the torch were setting on this oil carpeted floor were he stood at his bench,near his vice were he often worked . I saw a flash of yellow then kaboom the back half of the shop was in the air windows out and parts flying a good blast that send your ears ringing . cause of the explosion , the torches . a autopsy failed to provide any cause other than the torches exploded either by leak or by some other force we could not see .the tanks were found to be closed at the regulators .the valves we tightly closed even though we found them in the back yard ! one hose had a bulge and rupture in it it was the oxygen ~ copey
