thanks, thatis kinda waht I thought.They even had real power steering in the late fifties that they dropped until 72. I read somewhere that dodge had lost a big part o f the market share in truck sales inthe late fiftes so it makes sense that they cut some corners. they sure did pick up big market share again in the 60s then lost it again in the mid 70s. stayed low till 94 thenboomed again. Now no more dodge trucks........
