Joe, that fish weight now with wax and fins 13lbs. He's got a ton of wax on it so I figure no wax with fins 12.5lbs. Thing about it is they don't feel that heavy in the water because they are hollow, kinda like a scuba tank in vs out of the water. They paddle good, catch waves easy and surf well, lots of drive speed and glide. I'm getting them lighter now. That was a pretty thin bd. Zack, just got out of the water he surfs it all the time, I guess I made it three years ago. On bigger thicker bds. the weight is even better because the volume is greater but the skin is the same basic thickness. The long bd. pictured here was super light. This is a balsa sp. cedar combo
