In my older Ford engines I have used a kit that includes a little wire that you push up around the crank and pull the new seal around. You have to drop the pan, drop the rear main bearing cap and bearing. Check with an experienced mechanic or parts man to see if such a kit is available for your Jeep. Good luck.
