Hi Mike, I am not sure. I am pulling the pan tomorrow to get a better idea that it is. The last time I drove it, it started making a very metalic banging sound. I was hoping for a loose fly wheel, a piece of clutch plate or something banging around. It drives the same, does not smoke or miss. I guess it is a rod bearing or a main. When I pull the pan, what should I look for?? Robert N.
