With this kit you do not need to remove all the oil.
The pag oil in the kit has additives to convert the mineral oil.
His Vette uses an accumulator system. Still if it's been open
for a long while it will need to be replaced and evacuated before recharging. And you only charge about 80% of the original volume.
Still it's not a bad fix, but like everything else proper tools and equipment make it very easy.
