Will, that is my dad holding the rear third member from our 1959 W300M. It had a placard on the dash for a Detroit No-spin. At different times over the years Detroit used No-spin as the model name for the automoatic locker as shown in the pictures and the lunch box locker shown in previous advertisements. To the best of my knowledge, the only locker that Detroit made was as the one pictured and replaced the entire differential case.

The story goes that the plans and tooling were destroyed in a factory fire in the 60's. And, therefore they have not offered it, since. At last count there were three or four trucks on the forum equipped with this locker.

As our truck came from a TV station in New York equipped with snowplow and 6000 original miles, I am fairly certain that this was as dealer installed option. I have never requested the build card to see if there is mention of it, there...
