I did. Seem to be holding okay... probably until I start the truck, but I just used an old license plate (newer one I guess, it was made out of aluminum) and cut a strip of it out. With some small pop-rivets, ta-daaaa! All better!
I'll be happy to make you two and only charge you a winch.
