i use dielectric grease from a plow supply store. it is made for western plows and says western on the tube. unless you are eating it, it should last several years. i use it on every connection i make on my boat project and put a dab of it into battery crimp terminals. i use ONLY anchor marine electric connectors, wire (which is tinned) and shrink wrap on everything i do. have never had corrosion on anything done properly with anchor products. i rewired my boat with it end to end. can get anchor products at west marine and good boat stores.
