Try the following:

Pull the carb top off and check all of the jets. Pull the jets out. I had a fuel filter start to come apart and put fibers into the carb jets. I had the same exact symptoms in a truck of mine.

If nothing is there, try the following:

1) Pull fuel line at carb and look for crud in the intake area of the carb. something may have come through your line and lodged there.
2) Disconnect the fuel line at both ends and blow a little air from the carb end to disloge any crud.
3) Check tank for crud. You should, if I am correct, be able to drain the tank from the bottom. See what comes out.
4) I am not sure if you can remove the fuel pick up. If you can pull it and clean it.
5) Not sure on that tank if you can get to the fuel sender without dropping the tank. If you can, remove it and look inside with a flash light.
