Fuel delivery problem.

I am getting my half ton Carryall ready for the July 4th parade. The truck starts and runs with no problem. I drive it about 500 yards and it craps out on me and will not restart. I poped the top of the carb off and the bowel is empty. There is no air leak that I can find, I have replaced both the fuel pump and filter. I have taken the the fuel cap off just to be sure the tank will vent and I still have the same problem. I getting pretty frustrated with it and I don't have much time to work on it between now and the 4th. Any suggestons?? Robert.
