I used a brand called In-Wood. it has linseed oil rose oil and a bunch of other stuff. held up pretty well on my flat beds. I went the the black marine epoxy on the D300 as per the testing done by Mar-K proved that paint is the best coating for new wood anyway. And I saw it on Martys' trucks and liked the look.
