Yup, a small garden sprayer works great. I bought one just for pre oiling. Remove the sprayer nozzle, adapt the hose to the size fitting that will screw into the oil rifle. In my case with the Cummins thats a 1/8" pipe thread. My garden sprayer holds about two gallons. I keep her pumped up and dump all 2 gallons of new oil into the oil rifle. Works great and is really a cheap way to make a pre oiler.
