Both Clint and I have done it in the past, heck I entered a parts book that had a serial number written on the cover in ink!

The chances of anyone entering the trucks that Kevin found the paperwork for are small. Plus if you went to enter your truck and saw the paperwork already there you just E-mail Phil and he will pull the entry. But just think how cool it would be to find out that paperwork is out there, and how else would you know?

I know that I and other people enter trucks we don't own all the time. Nothing sinister about it, just adding to the known trucks out there.

I can't speak for Phil, but I would guess that if anyone ever entered a truck found on the side of the road, and later on someone bought that truck and wanted to enter it, Phil would help the new owner update the entry.

As far as I know that has never happened on any of the registries.

Personally I like to see as much info entered as we can, a bare tag pulled from a scrapped truck 20 years ago, a pile of rusted scrap metal soaking in a bog, all the way up to a complete and pampered show truck.

Eric
