ONce is the key word here. I am jacking up my house and a buddy loaned me 2, 20 ton harbor freight bottle jacks. He used them 'once" before and I jacked up some started taking measurements and looking for cracks. and something was wrong. one had already failed. tried running it up and down with no load thinkign maybe jsut needed to be bled and no luck. So I found a lot of screw jacks and bought those.
