I totally agree! Lots and lots of electronics we have today fail just because they use cheap caps. My bro in law is a purchasing person out in colorado. Makes purchases for electronic stuff thats used in military and or space and science stuff. He has noticed that a lot of stuff is made in china and the "new" circuit boards come back over with old electronic parts on them. We are sending old electronics and pc boards over there thinking they are getting recycled, ground up and the metals salvaged and the chinamen are actually unsoldering resistors and caps and chips off old boards and putting them on new stuff. No wonder your tv or vcr doesnt last but a year.
