Like 32 splines. And the advantage is the more splines, the shallower the 'cut', leaving a greater solid core.

So, if somebody came along with high count splines, they would need to supply side gears with the appropriate internal splines. And if you are going to use custom side gears, would it be possible to go to larger diameter too? Or is the next weak link in the chain the side gears? Need larger diameter O.D. ?
