The public doesn't want the Goverment involved in there lives until something like this happens, and then they scream where is the goverment? Do you think the goverment has a secret well blocker or high tech pipe plug standing by and all the resources to just drop it on?

We are all at the mercy of the oil giant, after which the goverment will create new laws which nobody wants and don't want to pay for. Thats how its worked in the past.
