Lowest part of cab floor is the lip around the tranny opening. I'll bet your frame has a groove worn into it by that lip. Some clearance there will prevent tons of the "Power Wagon Song" from transmitting through the floor.
So shim up the cab, then the front radiator support to get the hood to fit right.
