bottom line is that bias retreads on your bias casings dont make financial sense. you can buy new for little more than the retread would cost. radial retreads are good for hi mileage trucks or trucks that wear quickly i.e. garbage trucks and heavy equipment run on the road. retread xzl type michelins will likely be date coded out before the tread is gone. we do little retreading in our trucking business as the cost of new is closer than ever to capping.
