My father and I set out at 3:30 AM to drive 200+ miles one way from NJ to CONN. to pick up a 78 W150 stepside. The coolest part....we pulled it with our 78 W150! I don't know anyone else who pulled their new PW home with their old one! The truck pulled great and the looks we got were well worth it. The truck truly proved it's worth on this 400+ mile trip. Over 8 hours of driving. The granny gear loved the hills in Conn., and didn't do bad on gas either. Restoration will start pretty soon, but today the 78 we pulled with gets a rest and an oil change!
If any of you guys live in Conn. you may have the pleasure of knowing the man I got this truck from, Bruce Binnix. He and his family are truly great people and without a doubt the nicest we have met in all of our dealings involving trucks. Thanks for all your help Bruce!
