Apparently he had it appraised for something like 36K. He wants to start his own business so is looking for cash. He spoke to A Dodge dealership somewhere in the area and told them he wanted 52K.
I have never met the guy but have talked to him. Seems like a nice enough guy. He came from Kansas or Missouri, was a machinist. When he restored the truck he redesigned some of the "weaker" brackets, etc on the CAD. He also designed his own disc brakes. When he said it appraised for 36, I thought he meant $3600, figured I would take a look. However, $60K is a little different. I would still like to see the truck.
Thats the info I have on the truck. Maybe one of the local DELLionaires will buy it.
PS: If you are looking for decent flatfender, I am going to have to sell one of mine so I can continue on another project. Solid 57, runs, stops, all lights, good sheetmetal, rustproofing, straight box, no tailgate, leaking exhaust manifold, asking $5250 (I will post an ad later today)
