I just purchased a 47 WDX for 500.00. Apon further examination after bringing it home I found several cracks in the frame over the springs front and rear on the driver side. Apparently the last owner used the truck to lift entire cars with the winch and a homemade boom on the front.The last owner also did some very cheesy repairs to the frame and I am in the prosses of removing the old repairs so I can try to do a better job of repair.Can the frame be repaired with out loosing the stuctural integrity?Do the left and right side frame rails have the same bends? The truck currently has a non-running 327 chevy and a unknown 4 speed trans.It has a chain drive off the pto for the winch.Is there a power steering box that will fit with minimal mods?Any help would be appreciated,Thanks,Rob.
