This one has a 353 Detroit Diesel (3 cyl, 2stroke)in it, My expirence with them is that they are very loud, questionable reliability,(in vehicles) and not a whole lot of power unless they are supercharged or turbocharged. Seattle Fire has a few '74 Kenworths with the suprecharged v-8's and they go like hell, but put in your earplugs if you are on the tail board. Shop mechanics love them because they mean job security! (Just like our aid cars with the Powerstrokes and E4OD trannys, at least1 touque converter a piece and they all have less than 50k on them.) Makes me wonder if he put so much time and money into putting the jimmy motor in, why he wants to trade. He said he does have the original motor, but who is to say the condition? The Ambulance is all original though.
What am I saying? A Freaking Jeep! I cant sellout man, someone is trying to lure me from the path of true enlightenment and I wont go!
DODGE POWER WAGONS FOREVER!!!!!!!

Hope we can meet up next time you are in town Dave!
