Your engine sounds a little tired, but not bad. Some things to check for:

1. Make sure your engine is timed according to specs and the vacum advance does in fact work. Replace it if it's not. Results in poor mileage

2. Your timing chain is probably pretty stretched good at 100,000 miles retarding your crank and cam timing several degrees. This has a big effect on reducing midrange power and torque, resulting in poor mileage. Based on your compression, your engine probably is not using oil requiring full rebuild, but I would definiely replace the chain and sprokets.

3. If your running an automatic tranny, have it check out.

Your compression is still good. Doing the above should help give you better mileage.
