This motor MIGHT BARELY fit inot a M37 or WM300 (2" longer than earlier engine compartment). It's a 6 cyl indirect injection engine, 3.97L, about 103 hp @ 3700, about 180 ft-lb @ 2000-2200. In other words similar to the flathead but much more economical. It could be turbocharged with a high quality Garrett water cooled turbo from an Australian firm AXT using their 2H Landcruiser kit which is a volumetrically nearly identical motor, expect about 150 hp and 250 ft-lb. $$$ could be saved by keeping the 5.83s, it'd still top out at 66 with 36" tires. Ask the owner to measure it from front of fan to back of head. If close but too long measure from front of water pump and consider electric pusher fan.
