They're all gas hogs. The full-time 4x4 is GREAT! No getting out to lock hubs, etc. And in Lo-Lok, nothing (including the brakes if it's an automatic) will stop it!

Since the truck you're looking at is already a plow truck, and you live in an area that needs a plow truck, odds are good that it's REALLY rusty!

Check the cab mounts, the inner rocker panels, the radiator core support, and most importantantly, all of the steel lines for the brakes and fuel!

Also, look near the gas tank area on the frame for signs of rot-through. I've heard about this being a problem for years, but I finally saw one in person for the first time this past week-end.

Otherwise, buy the darn thing already! ;-)
