I know the following two questions aren't the most technical, nor will their answers change the world. But I gotta know!
1.) Why did they (Budd/Dodge) put only one key lock on the cab? Why, after they decided on one key lock, put it on the passenger side of the truck? Did other manufacturers do the same?
2.) Although the winch is gone from my truck, I do have the split bumper and some of the other hardware. I thought that my "Front Base Angle" (from the Best of the Forum-MU-2 parts list), was NOT original due to the fact that one side of the bracket was beveled/cut at a 45deg angle. I have since seen other trucks and the exploded MU-2 on the best of the Forum with the same "angle". Why one side and not both? I assume (bad word choice) that it is to keep the chain from getting caught, but I'm just guessing...
