I have read on the 4bt swaps forum several posts about the newer 16 valve electronic cummins 4 cylinders and they aparantly they can't use the 4bt adapters becuase something about the cam drive being on the rear of the engine? I don't believe the electric 4bt was ever installed in a on road vehicle. I don't really think the 4bt is that loud, not nearly as loud as the early 24V cummins trucks, of course I have a M37 without a top.
