Has anyone bought ID plates from the guy in Poland?

I finally met the guy close to me with the FFPW. He thinks it's a '53. one wheel says 50, 51, 52 and nothing on the 4th. He thinks he can get the out of state title, but there may not be a vin plate, he does have an old registration with the vin number on it.
Question is, has anyone bought these plates, or has anyone stamped them? Any ideas or suggestions?
