So for the 1st time in months I had time to take the FF out for a ride. After a general safety check I decided to cruise around the neighborhood. Thought I wait before heading onto the major roads. Good decision...
15 minutes into the ride I hit the brakes as I neared a stop sign. Ummm, problem.... No brakes....
Before the ride was over I was over the curb, over the sidewalk, and sitting in a neighbor's front yard.
After getting home I found a blowout in a rear brakeline where it passes through the frame crossrail. Time to replace the brake lines...
When checking your ride, be sure to check the nooks and crannies.
