Guess I'm full of misinformation! Pulled my Dad's old set out and it is Indestro Manufacturing Company and the one I picked up was Blue point(Snap-On). The both have the same instructions and diagrams with a sticker with their respective names pasted over the diagram.

Probably done well over 20 complete stainless line systems and scads of repairs with it and never misses a beat. Wing nut ears broke on Dad's and I made up Tall nuts that tighten with the provided handle. Tightness of the clamshell is a BIG key to getting them right.

When I cut line with a tubing cutter I drill out the ID to original size.
