Glad to hear it, but regardless the offer stands.
It would be no harder to convert back to a full tub/shower than it was to convert to a shower in the first place when you went to sell.
The right accessories would probably work well too. Like a bath seat and some good solid grab bars he could sit and swing his legs in.
Another option are the special tubs with doors for easier access. Not the most elegant things but functional.
