I agree. Keep the old one. I had a 2002 (last year of 2nd gen) and traded for a 2006 3/4 ton with auto. I wish everyday I had keep my old truck even with the 200,00 miles, front and rear main seals leaking and in need of a clutch and some work on sixth gear. That truck hauled 10,000 to 25,000 lbs everyday cross crountry without a breakdown. Just my .02 worth. My current truck is my 5th Dodge with the cummins diesel and the 1998 and 2002 were by far the best and my favorites.
