I've been told that a PW can be repaired by an old farm dog armed with a pork chop bone, so you're probably right. I found one article about the place, linked below in case anyone's interested. If this really is where the Garden of Eden used to be, what's sad to me is the pictures of the land around it -- just bare grassy hills that look about like our sagebrush country except without even the sagebrush. It's like the pictures I see of Israel and Greece -- rocks showing through everywhere and the soil all washed away thanks to 10,000 years of "agriculture". All these places used to be covered with forests and full of animals and now they're only fit for goats to graze on. At least know people know they have to take care of the soil. Anyway, thanks for the pointer to an interesting story. There are probably a lot of stories from the past that we have no idea about nowadays. All we can do is find some artifact buried in the ground and wonder about it.
