When I was in grade school my best friend, Jerry, really liked the garbage truck and/or the guy that drove it. Maybe the garbage man didn't like Fords either, because he swapped the "F" and the "D" on the hood of his truck so it said "DORF". For some reason, Jerry thought this was about the funniest thing in the world, and he somehow thought to mix it up with the first part of my name, so throughout grade school and high school, to Jerry, I was always "Derf".
