However, one of my principles of life is that you never win a fight with your neighbor. The houses are all close together here in Wallace and we have to get along. Some people think my trucks are ugly. This guy has a one-stall garage, currently occupied by his previous dead car, with junk stacked on top of it, plus this car stuck between our houses, and he has no other yard at all. He parks their good car in the street. He's been out of work for a year, and has a wife and daughter with him. If I wanted to be a dick about it, he could start complaining about my trucks, which don't exactly meet the zoning rules either. For that matter, there are all kinds of things that neighbors can do to each other when they start getting nasty, ranging from stealing stuff to calling the cops at the slightest excuse. Besides, seeing as how I'm in the "good" part of town, it's in my interest to have a neighbor with a junkier yard than mine. Of course, if this particular piece of junk is half way in my yard, I guess it's not doing much for my reputation. One thing for sure is if we have snow again like we had 2 years ago, the roof of that car will be draped across the seats if it spends the winter where it is now.
