My hydraulic log splitter has a 6.0 hp, 208 cc gas engine, running at 3600, top throttle.
I am interested in replacing the gas burner with a single phase, 110v/220v electric motor.
Is their a way to know what minimum sized motor could do the job, stay cool, and avoid overkill? Can you do the job just fine, not using a 5+hp, 3ph big boy?
