Check your fuel cap. It must be vented. If the vent gets plugged a vacuum will be created on the fuel tank. No fuel will flow after a period of time. Given time, the vacuum leaks down and truck will re-start, but will go thru the same cycle again. Next time it quits, quickly remove the fuel cap, see if you hear a hiss as air is sucked in. Or better, just tighten the cap a tad so air can leak in, if it stays running, you found the problem. Either find the plugged vent or get a new cap.
By any chance did you just buy a new gas cap ??? If so, you may have bought a gas cap that is non vented for new vehicles. Just becacuse it fits and tightens on the fuel neck, does not mean its right.
