The 230 has died.

Finally, my poor little flathead has run its course after 60 years of service. As of now, I am on the lookout for a new powerplant, preferably a diesel.

What's the best route? Some people have suggested finding a wrecked 2WD Dodge with the 6BT in it. Gut the truck, swap the 6BT with a 4BT and keep all the hardware. Others swear by the bread-van-recycle approach.
