I worked on the TW last night overhauling the carb. I was about to check the valves for lash when I started to feel water spraying me. The water pump started leaking. I thought well better here in the shop instead of on top a TN mountain. I put a new pump on and then did my valves. After checking over a few things I ran over to top of the tank which was good since it took 12 gallons. I had one guy pull up beside me and ask the usual questions, what year, what motor etc. Then another guy pulls in a starts with the same questions. Told them we are taking off Friday for Windrock to go trail riding. They both got this deer in the head light look and said cool. I thought so too. 2006 was the last time we were there so I'm really looking forward to this trip. Now if the wife thinks so after the first hill climb I'm golden.
