Anyone have any experience with the older (1970's) skidsteers? I'm looking at buying a Melroe M700 that has a Wisconsin engine, and the first years of the hydrostatic drive. This is going to replace my backhoe that finally gave up the ghost. I will be using it for moving a bit of dirt now and then, but probably more than that for lifting Power Wagon engines, cabs, axles, and whatever out in the field and in the shop.
It is supposed to be a good running machine and have good power, tight hydraulics.
