Be careful with those Con Spiracy theories, you may get banned.

In the old days a stalker sat down the block and had to follow you manually. Today, there is GPS, and the latest is GSM/WiFi.

How Do They Find You?

They go to their phone, or a computer, and type in your name. The transmitter is your phone, and the receiver is their phone

The GPS Version

In that application you needed to install a GPS transmitter in the car. $350 for the transmitter and $40 a month to view it through a service. And you needed to hide and wire it into the car's electrical system

The GSM Version

Rather than work off satellites, this works off cell towers. Up until now, only law enforcement could track using this technology. Today it is available for free to everyone, it's 'Google Latitude'. The cost is $0.

If You Have A Cell Phone

It's being installed on the latest phones by the manufacturers, but it can be put on most cell phones out there today. A true stalker would hardwire a phone into your car, but the government will just use your phone.

Who should be concerned? Everyone with a cell phone. The way it works is the government will use a geo-fence - so if you attend a Tea Party rally, or go to a certain location, or call a certain phone number you move into a high priority monitoring.

New cars will come wired, if they want you they can stop your car from wherever whenever.
